FRUITY OATMEAL FOR BREAKFAST

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/4 cup oats 
  2. 1/4 cup of water
  3. 1/2 cup of almond or coconut milk 
2 Tablespoons of dried fruit ( Bananas, mango, pineapple,etc.)
2 Tablespoons nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc)
  1. 2 teaspoons honey 
  2. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:
  1. Microwave water or milk for 2 minutes.
  2. Tear dried fruit in smaller pieces.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients, add water or milk.
  4. Enjoy!


CACAO SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of almond or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2  cup fresh or frozen raspberries.
  • 3 medium fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 fresh or frozen medium banana.
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder.
  • 1/2 tablespoon cacao nibs (optional)
  • A pinch of sea salt.

    Instructions:
  1. Blend all ingredients
  2. Serve cold and Enjoy!

CHOCO PANCAKES

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe fresh banana
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • coconut oil for cooking
  • 1 tsb of chia seeds
  • 2 TBSP of cacao powder
  • Yacon syrup (as desired) or honey
  • A pinch of salt

    Instructions:
  • Put all the items into a large bowl and blend.
  • Spray or drizzle oil in a, and spread around. Heat on a low-medium heat 
  • Pour in a small amount of the batter on the pan.
  • When the side facing you starts to bubble, the other side is done. Time to flip! A spatula is easiest. Once flipped, let the other side cook too. 
  • Repeat and Enjoy!
 

REUSE YOUR BAG!

We can all make a difference


We face a big problem world wide. Excess of plastic that contaminates our rivers, oceans, forests, our flora and wildlife. We know the role that manufactures like us have, so that is why we are working to find new eco friendly packaging to lower our impact in the world. Until we find that, we have thought of a way for you to reuse or upcycle our bags!  



 FROM WASTE TO FOOD:

Here are the steps you can follow to reuse your bag after you have finished your snack:

1) Empty your friendly foods bag of any residue.

2) Punch 4-5 small holes on the bottom of the bag.

3) Add soil inside the bag until almost full

4) Add seeds and cover with a thin layer of soil. 

5) Water everyday and in a few weeks you will have transformed a bag into food or even a garden!


TIPS: At home we have picked a few seeds from our fresh tomato and pepper for planting. Its super easy to plant easy plants that we have tried are tomato, basil, and spinach. But you can buy any seed of a small plant.
